Oh Jessie you can always sell any dream to me
A piano ballad from long time ago, I recently got remembered about. Jessie (1993) by Joshua Kadison.
Watching “The Handmaid's Tale” is an intense experience. Their choice of music makes that experience only stronger ...
“My Life” from the eponymous album by Iris DeMent.
“White Rabbit” by “Jefferson Airplane”.
Many refer to “The Matrix 4” trailer, I was however remembered through “The Handmaid's Tale” about this great song.
A combination of “Alice In Wonderland” and some LSD I guess.
The better guitar strumming by a bunch of not totally untalented people ... Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Prince. Also on stage : Dhani Harrison, son of, who wrote “While My Guitar Gently Wheeps”.
Maybe 2019?
From Super Trouper, 1980.
In 1978 “Rivers of Babylon” was a big hit over here in Belgium and Europe. Did not understand a word of the psalms based lyrics and even less did I know it was a cover of the 1970 “The Melodians” original. As if I cared at that time.
In 1982, Louise Tucker, an English opera singer, got some hit over here with “Midnight Blue”.
I tagged it with “Classical Music” as it is heavily inspired by a classical piece of music.
Don't know whether I should be ashamed or grateful. But this Canadian superband was quite unknown to me until now. Must be the downside of my being raised with more classical music. Until my 16 year old son introduced me to the group and its members.
Very good indeed!
"La Complainte pour Sainte-Catherine" from Kate & Anna McGarrigle. by the Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit, inclusive the Canadian-French accent.
Beautiful. And not only the music!
